LE CORTI by Dimora Collection - Origins
Le Corti by Dimora Collection is an adults-only luxury residence in the historic centre of Florence, set inside a restored 13th-century convent on Via Bufalini, moments from the Duomo. Designed for guests who want privacy, beauty and a more personal alternative to a traditional hotel, Le Corti combines historic Florentine architecture with contemporary comfort, including elegant suites, a sauna, gym, terrace and quiet internal courtyard.
Dimora Collection began around a rare Florentine residence: Le Corti, a former 13th-century convent hidden in Via Bufalini, in the heart of Florence’s old Oblate complex, only a few steps from the Duomo.
Le Corti by Dimora Collection had the qualities that cannot be recreated today: historic arches, pietra serena columns, generous volumes, traces of ancient stone, and the feeling of a place that had lived many lives before ours. The restoration was guided by Antonella Ferragamo, an architect whose work brought together conservation and contemporary comfort. The original arches and pietra serena columns were preserved and enhanced, while light, glass and proportion were leveraged to reveal the full character of the building across three levels — from the spa area to the living spaces and terrace.
The result is a residence where old Florence and modern comfort coexist quietly, without losing the atmosphere of the place.
For a family rooted in Florence for generations, the residence became the beginning of a more personal idea of hospitality: not a grand hotel, but a private home of rare character, restored with care and opened to guests who value beauty, history and privacy.
